Nik Curry
These are prints taken from very high quality drawings by the talented Yorkshire artist Nik Curry.
Nik trained in graphic design at both York and Derby Colleges of Art in the 1970's. A childhood passion for motorsport along with a chance gift of a set of coloured pencil crayons grew into the production of a unique style of artwork. Although he uses water soluble crayons they are used dry. His work is produced on frisk CS10 art board. His first commercial work came in the early 80's and to date he has produced over 100 pieces of original work. In 1991 a set of four prints was produced and with a recent release of three new prints he has had a total of 21 prints. He also has quite a large collection of original artwork signed by famous drivers; David Coulthard, Jenson Button, Colin McRae and Carl Fogarty to name a few.
Nik has exhibited at the Motorshow, Autosport International, Artist & Illustrators show at Olympia and at many race meetings around the UK.
