Michael Schumacher (born January 3, 1969, in Hürth, near Cologne) is a German Formula One driver and the most successful Grand Prix motor racing driver of all time. He is also the first and only German to win the drivers' championship.

He holds a great portion of all Formula One records, including most victories, most pole positions, most championship points and most famously, seven World Drivers' Championship Titles, five in a row with Ferrari and previously two in a row with Benetton.
